Celine Dion’s twin sons have been named Nelson and Eddy. The two sons who were born on the 23rd October of this year have not been given a name so far. They were born in the St. Mary’s Medical Center in Florida and were discharged on the 28th.
Celine Dion has named her newborn twin boys Nelson and Eddy Angelil. She explained that “Nelson” is a tribute to Nelson Mandela, while “Eddy” is named after French songwriter Eddy Marnay, who helped launched her career at the tender age of 13.

Celine Dion has named her newborn twin boys after former South African president Nelson Mandela and her late songwriting partner Eddy Marnay.
The 42-year-old singer gave birth to the tots in Florida on Saturday. The baby boys were discharged from hospital on Thursday and Dion has now revealed the names of her newborns. One baby has been named Nelson, after Mandela, and the other Eddy, in memory of the Algerian songwriter who died in 2003.
